Jiho Kim (b. 2005, South Korea) is a painter currently living in the United States and a freshman at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). She works primarily with oil painting, focusing on detailed realist portraits that reflect her experiences and explore themes like trauma, memory, and identity. For her, painting is a way to confront difficult memories and find comfort and healing.
